Niigata Factory is ISO 14001:2015 Certified

On 26th October 2001 the YONEX Co.,Ltd. Niigata Factory was certified with the international environmental management system standard ISO 14001:2004. Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA) acknowledged that the YONEX Co.,Ltd. Niigata Factory met the standards governed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Certification was renewed on 27th September 2004 by Moody International Certification (Current: Intertek Certification Japan Limited). Annual audits are conducted to ensure that the required standard is being maintained. An audit for renewal is required every three years.
ISO 14001 is an international quality environmental system standard established in 1987 by the ISO.
Certified facilities include No.2, No.3, SHINSAN and NAGAOKA facilities at the YONEX Co.,Ltd. Niigata Factory. The ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system is administered in the above factories during the design, development and manufacture of tennis racquets, badminton racquets, golf clubs , snowboards and road bike frames.

Activities commenced in August 2000. The first audit was held 25th – 26th September 2001, and the second audit was held on 16th October 2001. Judgement was received on 23rd October 2001, and official certification was attained on 26th October 2001.
